"People's Square", a recreational venue built by the Sindh government near the Pakistan Chowk of Karachi, will be inaugurated today, according to Senator Murtaza Wahab, spokesman for the provincial government.

“The wait is finally over. Peoples Square will be inaugurated to the public, ”he announced in a Twitter post. He said it boasts basement parking with a capacity of 450 cars and motorbikes as well as helping commuters park and then walk to the city's famous Burns Road, Arts Council, Burns Garden, Sindh Secretariat, DJ, SM Law and Arts College.

In a previous statement, he said the Sindh government built the recreational venue at a cost of Rs.1.5 billion in partnership with the World Bank as part of the Karachi Neighborhood Improvement Project.
He said there is parking for vehicles and 250 motorcycles while 3000 people can visit this beautiful recreational spot at the same time.

She said various stalls and candy shops have been set up and numerous plants and trees have been planted in the square with 50% of the shops reserved for women so that they too can do small business in such a good place.
